This is an opportunity for your minor child to participate in an Optimist float activity on Saturday, November 25.  For children 4th grade and younger, they can ride on the float and parents are welcome to walk with the float.  Children 5th grade and older will be able to help pass out stuffed animals and other items to parade watchers.   Registration helps us assure we can contact you with any changes as sometimes the parade details change at the last minute.   As of today, we will meet at 9 AM  the parade will start at 10 AM and we usually are through the route by 10:30-10:45 AM.   They can watch the rest of the parade at the Park.    We will contact you as soon as the line-up location is determined.  Because of construction this year, the parade route will end going east on Canal Street.  Further details will be given as soon as our line up and final details are received.
