Davis PTO Exec Committee Interest Form
We would like to provide an opportunity to learn more about committee roles informally, with no obligation to serve. Please complete this form and join us for an informal virtual meeting to learn more about how you can serve on the PTO next year! 

According to our Bylaws (read Bylaws here), A nominating committee consisting of two members of the PTO Board (one  shall be the current President or one of the Co-Presidents), the Principal and two members at large is to be appointed by the President or Co-Presidents in February. The nominating committee shall select one nominee for each position of the Executive  Committee to be filled. Only a member who has consented to serve shall be eligible for nomination. As a first step, we are requesting members who are interested to fill out the form based on which consent will be sought later.

The nominating committee will provide updates at all future general  meetings prior to the election in May. 
The slate of officers shall be presented at the general meeting in May. Before the election of officers at this meeting, an opportunity will be given for nominations from the floor occurring at the final general committee meeting in May. 

Nominations are open to current committee members as well as new members.

Open Executive Committee positions include: President (or co-presidents); Vice President (or co-vice presidents); Secretary (or Recording Secretary/Correspondence Secretary); Treasurer (or co-treasurers). To read descriptions of each position, refer to Article VI in the Bylaws.

You may also express interest in helping with sub-committees (School Supplies, Teacher Appreciation, 8th Grade Outing, etc.) with smaller time commitments. There is no election for sub-committee chairs.
