The Artist Meet & Greet highlights the experiences that have shaped each artist's path, exploring the challenges and defining moments that inform their practice. Audiences are invited to engage with remarkable craft artists, uncover the narratives behind their creations, and deepen their appreciation for artistry shaped by tradition and vision.

「與藝術家會面」聚焦於藝術家親身分棄創作時的歷練與磨礪、堅持與突破等塑造自身風格時的轉捩點，藉此讓觀眾體悟傳統、願景與閱歷交織下所衍生的工藝作品。

Artist Profile 藝術家簡介 - Jeong Da-Hye

Horsehair artist Jeong‬‭ Da-Hye (b. 1989), winner of LOEWE‬‭ FOUNDATION Craft Prize‬‭ in‬‭ 2022‬‭ is inspired‬‭ by‬‭ the‬ traditional‬‭ Korean‬‭ men’s‬‭ headwear "‭gat"‬‭ (갓)‬‭ worn‬ during‬‭ the‬‭ Joseon‬‭ Dynasty,‬‭ Jeong‬‭ mastered‬‭ the‬‭ ancient‬‭ technique‬‭ of‬‭ horsehair‬‭ weaving‬‭ and‬‭ innovatively‬‭ experimented‬‭ with‬‭ different‬‭ shapes‬‭ and‬‭ patterns.‬‭ She‬‭ skillfully transforms loose‬‭ horsehair‬‭ into‬‭ intricate‬‭ three-dimensional‬‭ forms,‬ including‬‭ vessels,‬‭ sculptural‬‭ objects,‬‭ and‬‭ relief‬ wall‬‭ pieces.‬‭

馬毛藝術家Jeong Da-Hye (1989年生)‬‭精‬研韓國朝鮮時代男帽「笠」（갓）的製作工藝，以極其精湛的傳統馬毛編織技術，巧妙地將幼細柔軟的馬鬃反覆以幾何圖案進行錯綜複雜的編織‬，轉化為各種容器、裝置藝術、浮雕裝飾等結構‬堅固‬‭的‬‭立體‬‭三‬‭維‬‭形‬‭態，並榮獲2022年LOEWE羅意威基金會工藝獎。‬


Artist Profile 藝術家簡介 - Didi Ng Wing Yin 吳頴賢

Wood artist Didi Ng Wing Yin (b. 1989), finalist of LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize in 2025, artistic philosophy is “Naturalness”. His practice centres on the development of innovative surface carving techniques, applied to sculptural furniture and artworks that reflect his distinct approach to form and texture. Engaging closely with the raw qualities of wood, Ng’s artistic inspiration is driven by the material itself, honouring its natural character while pushing the boundaries of traditional woodworking. 

木工藝術家吳頴賢（1989年生）以「順應自然」為本，結合具前瞻性的實驗性表面雕刻技術，吳氏的創作追求呈現木材的真實形態，反映了他對於有機材料的不同形態獨特的處理手法。以木材的天然本質為引，創作過程中與自然本質、工藝造藝及靈感上下探索之間取得平衡，衍生出獨一無二的木製雕塑家具及作品系列。其精湛的木製雕刻作品使他入圍 2025年LOEWE羅意威基金會工藝獎決賽。

Artist Profile 藝術家簡介 - Ou Tingzhu 區廷柱

Lacquer artist Ou Tingzhu (b. 1991) explores themes of worship, power, and nature through his sculptural practice. Moving beyond functional lacquer objects, he creates independent three-dimensional works centered on two series: “Towers,” which reimagine universal symbols of reverence and authority, and “Enclosed Landscapes,” which distill observations of nature into light, suspended forms. Working with natural lacquer, Ou embraces its material intensity and the meditative rhythm of layered processes, reflecting on the delicate balance between material, time, and the body.

漆藝藝術家區廷柱 (1991年生)的作品以 「 塔」及「密閉風景」為主述對象，從之前的夾苧漆器物，轉而去除其功能性，成為獨立靜置的漆立體，以切割和塵埃為貫穿整批作品的線索。「 塔」系列作品探討古至今人們對於崇拜及權力轉換為物體的共同形象。 「密閉風景」 則是對自身周邊自然環境的觀察，一些直觀細微感受的視覺化傳達，以輕巧柔軟的形式懸置於空間內。天然漆在製作中層層疊置和日復日的重複工序給予強烈的物質感受，令區氏思考重構及平衡物質、時間、身體三者之間的關係。
