Since you're keen enough to be a volunteer, you're probably also involved in actually doing some programming and/or performing (Wrock, Merlies, Lip Sync, etc.)

Please tell us when you're going to be busy presenting or attending activities so we can work with your schedule.

Ideally use the format with each of these on their own lines:
- Date - Time - Your Participation and Event

e.g.: Friday - 2pm to 5pm - Presenting Kids on Brooms
Saturday - 10am to 4pm - Vending at Craft Fair (including my set-up and take down time)
VOLUNTEER TASKS
We know that not everyone likes doing all tasks, so here's where you can tell us a bit more about your interests while we tell you a bit more about what we need. 

Once we know who is interested in which tasks, we'll group you and connect you to your group for scheduling.
Programming Room Monitor *
You're like a Prefect. You will check badges and masks at all programs to ensure the safety and health of all participants, and help them start and end on schedule. You can attend programming while you do this position but you can't run programming while you do this position.

Are you a fantastic welcome witch or wizard? Put your skills to the test by helping welcome attendees to MISTI-Con.

Security Escort
Muggles abound so we need people who can check badges and do minor escorting assistance upon request by our attendees. Please let us know if you're willing to fulfill this role.
Muggle Technology Assistant
Do you know how to get sound systems working? Can you fix the projector so people can see my PowerPoint? Can you at lest turn it off and on again? If so, this may be the perfect position for you!
Common Room Monitor
For MISTI-Con attendees, the Common Room is a great place to hang out, meet other attendees, and get questions answered. As a monitor for this room, you will ensure the room doesn't get too messy, all items remain about where they started and in great condition, and potentially answer some questions or direct people to where to find answers.
Special Event Set-Up / Break Down
This position may involve some manual labour (carrying, lifting, standing). Events may include the Merlies, Lip Sync Battle, the Craft Faire, the Wrock concert, the Celebration of Life, the Ball.
General Set-up / Take Down
Are you the early owl and is your wand work exceptional? If you're arriving very early, you may be able to help with some set-up things. Let us know if you're coming in on Thursday or earlier, or staying late on Monday and able to help with take down and packing up.
