Please complete this form if your elementary (K-5) child needs transportation to/from a child care provider during the 2025-26 school year. The child care provider must be in your child's elementary school boundary area. School district transportation is not available to daycare centers. Please work with your child's center to arrange transportation.
You will receive busing information via email if this request is approved/denied. Depending on the bus ridership count, you might not be notified until the third week of school.
District guidelines for transportation to/from child care providers:
1. The child care provider's address must be on a current bus route. Routes will not be altered to accommodate requests.
2. Priority will be given to students who are eligible for transportation to/from school. In the event a bus route becomes full, students approved for transportation to/from child care may need to be removed from the route.
3. If approved, it is the responsibility of the parent and child to know their own schedule. The district is not responsible for keeping track of which address a child is going to on any given day.
4. By completing this form, you agree to follow all district policies and guidelines relating to transportation as outlined in your student's handbook.
5. Requests must be renewed before the start of each school year.
Requests will be approved after regular ridership is confirmed. Requests submitted during or after the first three weeks of school will be reviewed on a weekly basis. Transportation cannot begin until this form is approved.
Complete este formulario si su hijo/a de primaria (K-5) necesita transporte para ir o volver de una guardería durante el año escolar 2025-26. La guardería debe estar dentro del área de la escuela primaria de su hijo/a. El transporte del distrito escolar no está disponible para las guarderías. Por favor, coordine el transporte con la guardería de su hijo/a.
Recibirá información sobre el transporte por correo electrónico si esta solicitud se aprueba o se rechaza. Dependiendo del número de pasajeros, es posible que no reciba la notificación hasta la tercera semana de clases.
Directrices del distrito para el transporte de ida y vuelta a las guarderías:
1. La dirección de la guardería debe estar en una ruta de autobús vigente. Las rutas no se modificarán para atender las solicitudes.
2. Se dará prioridad a los estudiantes que cumplan los requisitos para el transporte de ida y vuelta a la escuela. En caso de que una ruta de autobús se llene, es posible que sea necesario retirar de la ruta a los estudiantes aprobados para el transporte de ida y vuelta a la guardería.
3. Si se aprueba, es responsabilidad de los padres y del niño conocer su propio horario. El distrito no se responsabiliza de llevar un registro de la dirección a la que se dirige un niño en un día determinado.
4. Al completar este formulario, usted acepta seguir todas las políticas y directrices del distrito relacionadas con el transporte, tal como se describen en el manual del estudiante.
5. Las solicitudes deben renovarse antes del inicio de cada año escolar.
Las solicitudes se aprobarán una vez que se confirme la afluencia regular de pasajeros. Las solicitudes presentadas durante o después de las tres primeras semanas de clases se revisarán semanalmente. El servicio de transporte no podrá comenzar hasta que se apruebe este formulario.
