This form submits a request for a recital date to the production office. Students should coordinate with their committee members and accompanist to determine a date before submitting the request. Final confirmation of rehearsal and recital dates will be sent out after the production office has reviewed the submission and received approval from the student's committee members.
Any changes that need to be made after submitting this form should be sent to the facilities and production staff as soon as possible. Students are responsible for informing facilities/production of any date changes or cancellations for any facility use, including hearings and rehearsals, in a timely manner. Any changes in equipment needs must be submitted n
o later than two weeks before the performance date. Any and all changes must be submitted in writing to Kathy Boersma (1.502D VAR), Caroline Sheridan (1.501B VAR), and Terry Herald (1.502E VAR) (keboersm@oakland.edu, csheridan@oakland.edu, herald@oakland.edu).
All program information MUST be submitted to Hillary Vanidour (hvanidour@oakland.edu) two weeks before your performance using a template that can be obtained by emailing Hillary at the above email address. Failure to submit program information in a timely manner will result in your program not being uploaded to the programs page on the SMTD website and you will be responsible for publishing your own program. This deadline is in place as any digital materials uploaded to an OU website must be processed to comply with formatting and accessibility requirements. At this time, SMTD is only publishing digital programs; should you wish to distribute printed programs, you should consult with your instructor to determine the best method for doing so.
