At Green for Sudan, we believe that informed youth are essential to building a sustainable, peaceful, and climate-resilient Sudan. The Youth Climate Negotiation Simulation (YCNS) is one of our flagship youth-engagement programs designed to bridge scientific understanding with real policy thinking.
This simulation brings together Sudanese youth to explore the country’s climate, environmental, and sustainability challenges through the lens of negotiation, diplomacy, and evidence-based decision-making.
Inspired by global processes under the UNFCCC and COP conferences, YCNS gives participants the opportunity to:
- Understand Sudan’s environmental and climate realities using facts, science, and lived experiences.
- Explore how conflict, displacement, ecosystem collapse, and economic challenges shape climate vulnerability.
- Practice negotiation, teamwork, and policy writing in a safe, youth-friendly space.
- Develop leadership skills grounded in critical thinking, communication, and strategic advocacy.
- Co-create an Outcome Document reflecting youth perspectives and policy recommendations for Sudan.
This program is open to Sudanese youth from all backgrounds; no prior climate or policy experience is required. All we ask is curiosity, commitment, and willingness to learn.
By applying, you are joining a growing community of Sudanese youth dedicated to reimagining Sudan’s future through science communication, climate awareness, and constructive dialogue.
Please fill out this form carefully. If selected, you will receive confirmation from the Green for Sudan Youth Engagement Team.
Thank you for taking the first step. Together, we pioneer science communication for a sustainable Sudan.
