Workshop On Halal Marketing
Marketing is letting people know about your products. But what on earth is Halal Marketing?
Halal marketing has got two aspects:
Marketing products tagged as ‘Halal’ to consumers who are looking for ‘halal’ products.
Marketing products or services that does not necessarily need the tag ‘halal’ in a manner that does not violate the principles of Islam.
If you are a creative person, the first aspect is for you. The current world halal market is 2.3 trillion USD. And the market is growing at an unbelievable rate of 150%.
If you are a muslim, the second aspect is for you. You can convert your work to acts of worship by following the regulations of Allah while selling your products.
Although we are living are the age of “Sex Sales”, but still, a market is emerging who value quality not gimmicks. They abhor sexualization. These market is appealed by information and knowledge. A new marketing strategy has been developed to market to this segment - content marketing.
Halal marketing is very much aligned with the style of content marketing.
