Volunteer Opportunities
Asha's Refuge offers 4 volunteer assignments. Please read the following descriptions and choose 1-2 roles in which you are interested.
  1. Development Volunteer - work with staff to plan and carry out special events.
  2. Event Volunteer - serve at special events.
  3. Client Advocate - become a friend to refugees and asylees through home visits and transportation to appointments.
  4. Cultural Support Volunteer - translate at appointments, translate documents, and meet with refugees and asylees of special language groups (Spanish, French, Dari, Swahili, Kinyarwanda, and more)
