How will the classes be taught?

All online classes are taught on Zoom. It's not necessary to download Zoom in order to use it. You simply click the link that I send to you in an email. 

What are the classes like? 

My classes are fun, engaging, dynamic and all about your language learning journey. You will get corrections and feedback during and after each class. In addition to this you’ll have optional weekly homework and access to your own Google drive with all of the class material and homework. (homework and google drive not included for 30 minute classes) 

Speaking: We will focus on boosting your fluency and confidence. This will be achieved by discussing many different everyday topics in class and by using "real life" English in order to achieve a more natural way of speaking. Pronunciation will also be improved using a variety of different phonological techniques. 

Listening: It's important to be able to understand different English accents and to listen to the language being used in different contexts. That's why I use varied media sources for listening practices. For example: podcasts, clips from movies and series, news broadcasts, songs etc. 

Reading: Reading practice should be enjoyable and help you discover new vocabulary, expressions, idioms and phrasal verbs in a natural and fun way. Many resources will be used including interesting articles, short stories, poems, extracts from English novels etc. 

Writing: Writing is an area that can be difficult for many students because we sometimes neglect this skill. We will work on your writing style and structure and I will help you become more comfortable in writing: stories, articles, reviews, letters, emails, reports and essays. 

Cancellation policy: 

If you contact me to cancel your class at least 24 hours before the class time, you may reschedule the class with no extra charge. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the class time, you will be charged for the class.  

Payments: 

Payments can be made securely using a debit card or via PayPal, Revolut or Wise.
