HOMEWORK WILL BE REQUIRED EVERY WEEK, even on weeks when we do not have class. Please check the box below to show that you understand this requirement.
Your student should plan to spend between 2-4 hours on writing homework each week. It is best to plan some writing time into each day's schedule.

Important Notes for Composition Classes *
Class fees are payable four times throughout the year. Class fees are NON-refundable even if you drop the class. I do not offer refunds under any circumstances. I will work with you on a payment plan if necessary, but I will rely on you to follow through on your agreement to pay since these classes pay my bills.  At least 8 students must enroll to ensure the class will be held. A maximum of 20 students will be accepted.

Proficient 5th graders may sign up for the middle school classes. Please contact me if you have a question.

All students must pay a non-refundable registration fee of $25 to hold a spot in the class.
(Segments of Academic Writing have an individual registration fee of $10 for each segment or $25 for all three segments.)

Wordsmith: $200  (due in 4 payments of $50)
Four installment payments will be due on September 12, October 24 December 12, Feb 20.

Medieval Theme Based Writing: $200  (due in 4 payments of $50)
Remedies for Writing: No Stress Writing (ages 14-19) $200  (due in 4 payments of $50)
Response to Literature (high school) $240 (due in 4 payments of  $60)
Four installment payments will be due on September 13, November 1, January 10, Feb 28.

Academic Writing - meets as follows. You may take just one or two of these classes, or sign up for all three.

Basic Essay - $50 (due on September 13)
Meets for 4 weeks: Sept 13, 20, 27, Oct ​4​
Basic Essay students must pay registration fee of $10  to hold your spot in class.

Research Writing - $125 (due on October 18 - may divide into two payments; second payment due December 6)
Meets for 12 weeks: Oct 18, 25, Nov ​1, 8, 22, 29, Dec 6, 13, Jan 10, 17, 24​, 31
Research Writing Students must pay registration fee of $10 to hold your spot in class.

Advanced Essay- $100 (due on February 14)
Meets for 8 weeks: Feb 14, 21, 28, Mar ​7, 21, 28, Apr ​4, ​11
Advanced Essay students must pay registration fee of $10  to hold your spot in class.
