Please note that the SF LGBT Center has limited capacity for donated items. While we truly appreciate your generosity, unfortunately we are not always able to take every donation. Our ability to accept donated items varies and depends on our current program and facility needs and capacities. Please see below for our current needs.
Donated items must be reviewed and approved by the SF LGBT Center team. Kindly refrain from dropping off donated items at the Center without prior arrangement.

PLEASE NOTE: We are not currently accepting donations of books or furniture. Please consider checking with Community Thrift, a nonprofit thrift store where you can specify the SF LGBT Center as the beneficiary of your donation. (

- Makeup, especially foundation
- Cleansing wipes

- Hair care products (gel, hairspray, curl care, mousse)

- Small carts (e.g. for groceries or laundry)

- Masculine boxers (all sizes, new)
