Mauritanian Event & Asylum Clinic Volunteer Form 
Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering at our Columbus and Cincinnati events! Clinics are co-sponsored by Catholic Charities, Ohio Access to Justice Foundation, and your local legal aid program. We are fortunate to partner with Vineyard Legal Services for our Columbus event as well.

We are offering a number of events this Fall:

  • Quarterly Asylum Clinics - Based on the great work of Catholic Charities, we have adopted an ongoing Asylum (non-Mauritanian) clinic that we expect to do quarterly. Clients have already been pre-registered for this event. Our next event will take place at Vineyard Community Center on Friday 11/3/23.
  • Mauritanian Events - We have a large influx of Mauritanian individuals and families who need our help! So we will have information sessions and Asylum Clinics devoted specifically to the Mauritanian population as well.  For Mauritanian Events - Each city will have a group information/client intake session where we will conduct a pre-registration and triage and discuss eligibility,  followed up by an Asylum clinic several weeks later.

We have lawyer, interpreter, and other non-lawyer needs at all events.  Please feel free to reach out to probono@oslsa.org with any questions!
