2025 OPERA Iowa Performance Request Form

For elementary school performances, we are excited to bring back The Billy Goat's Gruff, a wonderful production for young audiences. The show takes a familiar tale and adds a fun operatic twist with a strong anti-bullying message. On the way home from school, three little billy goats encounter a steep bridge, a big mean troll and a sticky situation that they must try to solve- all set to some of the greatest music by Mozart, Rossini, and Donizetti!

For high school students, we are pleased to offer our popular Masterclass session. Students benefit from vocal tips and insights from the OPERA Iowa troupe in this must-have workshop for contest season! Also available is the ­­­­­OPERA Iowa Spotlight Concert, featuring selections from the standard operatic and musical theatre repertoire.

Rossini's version of the classic fairytale of Cinderella is a vocal and comedic romp! This production is the perfect introduction to opera and fits well into a family community concert series. Sung in English with piano accompaniment.
