Please complete this form if you are requesting a pick up and/or drop off of your child at a location other than your home address.

The Alternate Transportation Request process is now a part of your child’s summer school registration.

1. For safety reasons, pick-up or drop-off locations other than home must be requested in writing by parents/guardians via this electronic district form. Transportation fees, if applicable, must be paid by the payment deadline for each session. Requests will not be scheduled if a fee is required and not added to your child’s account, and/or not paid for by the deadline.

The routes are finalized no later than five business days prior to the start of the summer session. Bus routes and pick-up/drop-off locations will not change during the first week of the summer sessions.

Requests received after the bus routes are finalized will be reviewed for consideration after the first week of the summer session is finished.

2. Childcare providers must be on established routes, and there will be no additional stops or overloading of buses for the purpose of transportation to childcare providers. If the bus fills with students whose homes are on the route, transportation to childcare providers will no longer be available.

3. Transportation fees apply to families when your home is not eligible for busing or when the childcare provider’s facility is not eligible for busing. Please see Fee Scenario link for details.

4. Fees are a flat rate for the summer school session and are not pro-rated based on number of days transportation is requested.

IMPORTANT DUE DATES FOR ALTERNATE BUS REQUESTS:

Friday, May 18 – Submission deadline for Sessions 1 & 2 to start service on June 18.

Monday, June 25 - Requests received between May 21st & June 24th transportation start date.

Friday, June 22 – Submission deadline for Session 2 only to start service on July 9th.

Monday, July 16 - Requests received between June 23rd & July 13th transportation start date.

Transportation fees, if applicable, must be paid before the payment deadline for each session. Transportation will not be scheduled if a fee is required and/or not paid for by the deadline.

Waunakee Students Only: Fees will be added to your child's Student Fees in Infinite Campus within one week of your transportation request. Payment must be made by the deadline.

Non-Waunakee Students: Fees must be paid by check. Make checks payable to Waunakee Schools and mail them to:
