BUCU Global Friends Team - Giving Every International Student the Chance to Hear About Jesus
Global Friends is Bath CU's international ministry that we would love you to be involved with. As the name suggests we have a large emphasis on building friendships with the international students, as we believe that it is through these loving relationships that we can best share the good news of Jesus.

Every week we host Bible Explored (Monday Lunchtimes), Global Cafe (Wednesday Lunchtimes) and Saturday Socials.

I would love it if you can be involved with these so below there is more information about each of our activities and how you could get involved. If you select "No" for any of these, you are still welcome to attend these events and bring your friends along to them.

Bible Explored - Monday Lunchtimes
Bible Explored is a weekly Bible study that we put on to help international students to find out more about Jesus. It is very similar to "See for yourself", however it is more tailored to international students. Being involved with Bible Explored would mean supporting Adam and Frances at the lunchtime, with the possibility of leading a small group (depending on attendance). It may also mean following up students to read the Bible one to one after Bible Explored. If you are excited about opening the Bible and sharing the gospel, this will be a great thing to be involved with!
Global Cafe - Wednesday Lunchtimes (11:30am-2:30pm)
Global Cafe is our weekly lunch that we put on for international students. It is a warm welcoming place that they can come to get to know British people and friends from around the world. It is the best place to come to to get to know international students and to start building friendships. Every week we need a number of people who can help welcome the students and speak to them. We also need people who can help with preparing food and drinks. If you are excited about meeting and getting to know international students then get involved with Global Cafe!
Socials - Saturday
We are really excited about a number of Saturday Socials that we are putting on. These are going to include: A Canal Walk and Traditional Pub Lunch, A Baking Class, A Ceilidh (Scottish Dancing), and much much more! This is the best way to get to know the students a lot better as we get to properly hang out with them. Being a part of this team mainly involved just being their to hang out with the students, however with some of the socials it may mean being involved with the running of the social.
