Project aims:
The global aims of the project are to identify, document, showcase and increase accessibility of practical, alternative initiatives aimed at achieving community safety and well-being across a wide range of settings globally.
The project includes a systematic and structured exploration of existing and potential approaches to assurance of optimum community safety and well-being culminating in production of a comprehensive guidance toolkit for a new era of law enforcement and public health partnership, including scenarios where public health becomes the primary response for specific social conditions.
Yet, we do not know enough about alternative approaches, nor about why alternative approaches are not being implemented.
We invite submissions with respect to programs or initiatives that will be considered for inclusion in the project. Your submission will be reviewed by our team and further investigation will be undertaken, if needed.
