Laker Loop Challenge  - March 7, 2020
Information and Rules - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
                 To receive your shirt, you must complete this form by February 26, 2020!

-This is a free event. Long sleeved shirts are available for $25 if you would like to purchase one. Shirts are FREE to SLHS students who complete the challenge.

-The event will take place on Saturday, March 7th, 10am SHARP at Central Park in Spring Lake. All runners must be completed by 1pm (16mpm pace). Get there by 7:45am to cover any last minute details.

-There will be 3 water stations on the route, they will marked the week of the event. Snacks, Gatorade, and water will be available for runners after the run.

-All runners must run/walk the course. No use of bikes, roller-blades, skateboards, or any other operating equipment may be used.

-The run will start at Central Park (near basketball court) and follow the bike path around the lake and end at Central Park.

-The loop will be 13.1 miles. The route may be modified due to path conditions.

-Prepare your body for a long run. Proper dieting 48 hours preceding the run. On the morning of the run, eat something, be smart!

-If you are feeling ill or very fatigue, start walking. There will be spotters driving the course.

-In case of a emergency, please provide a contact name and number.

-Dress appropriately, watch the weather forecast.

Waiver and Entry Form:  I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running this event including, but limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, traffic and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and know these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release race officials, race directors and all sponsors, their representatives and successors for all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons name in this waiver. This waiver is required to be completed and turned in to Mr. Andres by the morning of the run. *
