2019-2020 UNC Asheville First-Year Parking Waiver
First-year resident students (including incoming freshman transfer students or those with fewer than 30 credit hours) are not permitted to bring cars to campus for the duration of their freshman year (fall through spring semesters). This includes students who have enough credits to be considered sophomores at any time during their first academic year. This policy does not apply to non-traditional freshmen or transfers with at least two semesters at a post secondary institution. "Non-traditional" freshmen are typically students who are 21 years of age or older. Off-campus students are required to apply for a waiver but may be restricted to Freshman parking areas. Only those with housing waivers may receive a parking pass.

I have read the parking policy and related material before applying for a waiver. *
Only FRESHMAN lots are available for this waiver. These lots are not typically outside the Resident Halls. This are outlying lots about 1/4 of a mile from the residence halls. If you need accommodation due to a mobility barrier, you MUST obtain a DMV issued handicap placard. *
I agree NOT to bring my vehicle to campus until the waiver is approved *
