Why come to Monktoberfest?- We curate fantastic talks that cannot be heard at other conferences.- We keep the conference deliberately small to encourage community and connection. The conference consistently attracts top developers, industry leaders, and interesting thinkers. More importantly, the attendees of Monktoberfest are a welcoming bunch, and we're all excited to have you here!- We view hosting our attendees in Maine as a key part of the experience and work to bring you a delicious selection of local food (it's not often you'll find freshly caught lobster as a conference meal!)- As part of our meals, we host beer tastings that showcase unique and world-class beers you won't find elsewhere.
Thanks to MongoDB, the program will fully cover your pass to the conference. We will also provide stipends to assist with travel/lodging expenses if needed.
RedMonk believes that diversity in technology makes us all better. We'd like to help make Monktoberfest accessible to groups historically under-represented in the technology sector, including but not limited to women, people of color, LGBTQ+, and/or people with disabilities. That said, our definition of under-represented groups is tech is intentionally wide. We don’t exclude anyone on the basis of ability, class, color, gender, or creed.
If you are a member of an under-represented group in tech and would like to apply, please fill out the form below. Your information will not be shared with anyone other than the people reviewing the applications (Stephen O'Grady and Rachel Stephens at RedMonk) without your permission.
