Moore Center's Student Poster Session Competition
Please join us for the Moore Center’s student poster session competition focusing on child maltreatment from a public health perspective on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. This poster session is part of the Moore Center's annual symposium on child sexual abuse prevention. Moore information about the symposium can be found at www.jhsph.edu/MooreCenterSymposium.

All student submissions related to child maltreatment including child sexual abuse, child physical abuse and neglect, bullying, peer-on-peer harassment and violence, and prevention practice and policy are welcome.

The 2018 student poster session will feature work from both undergraduate and graduate students from Johns Hopkins University and other undergraduate and graduate academic institutions. The poster session committee especially invites presentations that focus on:
New Research Findings
Projects that are underway or planned for the future
Historical / Landmark studies for the field

This poster session is exclusively for undergraduate and graduate students. Non-compliant submissions will be automatically rejected.

The deadline for abstract submissions is Monday, March 26, 2018, 5:00 PM EST.

Abstract submissions will be reviewed for compliance with our submission guidelines. Abstracts will be accepted on a rolling basis.  Those submitted on the deadline will be notified by Friday, March 30th.
Submission Guidelines
Abstracts and posters must be in English and posters must be sized no larger than 40 inches by 60 inches.

To enter this competition, please complete the following form. At the end of the form, you will be asked to submit an abstract describing your potential poster. There is a 200 word maximum for abstracts.

The poster session committee especially invites presentations that focus on:
New Research Findings
Projects that are underway or planned for the future
Historical / Landmark studies for the field

All student submissions related to child maltreatment including child sexual abuse, child physical abuse and neglect, bullying, peer-on-peer harassment and violence, and prevention practice and policy are welcome. Previously presented work is welcomed.

All accepted posters will need to be set up in Feinstone Hall between 8:15 am and 10 am on April 19th, 2018. Posters will be judged on originality, content, organization, and visual display. Additional information about poster guidelines will be included in abstract acceptance letters. Students will be expected to present their posters from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 19, 2018.

The deadline for abstract submissions is Monday, March 26, 2016, 5:00 PM EST.
