The mission of SPARC’s working group program is to coalesce material resources and facilitate collaboration among students and professionals on university sustainability initiatives. We currently have working groups on the topics of food, energy, waste, transportation, and curriculum integration and are seeking active students and professionals to join and submit content.

Specifically, we aspire to achieve the following:
-Gather and document sustainability campaigns from Philadelphia-area universities for use by students looking to work on similar projects
-Bring together students working on similar issues to share resources and ideas from past initiatives, and to facilitate collaboration in future campaigns
-Connect students with sustainability professionals in the Philadelphia area
-Discover gaps in resources and improve these by working with student and community leaders
