Okemos Softball Club Volunteer Interest Form
The Okemos Softball Club is being developed as a volunteer organization designed to provide girls in the Okemos area with a robust, positive, softball experience.  As such, involvement from parents/adults/mentors and even local businesses is critical to keeping the club going.  We are looking for people, and businesses, that might be interested in being involved in a wide variety of ways.  If you are interested in volunteering in any of the ways below or might be interested in a helping "in any way I can" then please fill out the form below and we'll be in touch.  Thank you for your consideration!

VOLUNTEER POSITION DESCRIPTIONS

ADMINISTRATIVE - For the 2024 season, we've identified a real need to reduce the administrative / coordination demand on our coaching staff in the following areas so that they can focus on coaching:
* Put up and take down tryout signage
* Tryout check in desk
* Collect concussion/liability forms
* Coordinate uniform orders
* Pre season tournament check in desk
* Helping to coordinate MSU/Lugnuts outings
* Other similar administrative / coordination type of activities

COACHING - For those with playing and / or coaching experience in baseball or softball who are interested in providing a positive learning experience.  Guidance will be provided to encourage consistency throughout the program that is in line with OHS Softball principles.  Interest in coaching may include head coaches, assistant coaches and position coaches.  Multiple coaches are needed per team.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT - If you know of a local business who might be interested in supporting the club financially or with in kind goods or services then please let us know.

FIELD MAINTENANCE - General field upkeep/maintenance throughout the season.

PHOTOGRAPHY - If you are an photographer at heart, there's often a need to take pictures of our players as well as coordinate the sharing of pictures within each team.  

OTHER - If you have a super power that might help the club then please let us know!
