Bear Lake Running Club
Bear Lake Running Club provides an opportunity for all students (K-5) who are interested in distance running. Students will be taught about cross country running and are also given the opportunity to participate in several monthly cross-country runs, throughout the season here at Bear Lake against other Seminole County students. Students must have health insurance coverage in order to participate in the Running Club. Please complete the insurance information below.

DAYS AND TIMES
All grades will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:15 A.M.-8:00 A.M.
Races will take place on various dates throughout the season. More info coming as we get closer to Running Club season.

INCLEMENT WEATHER DAYS
Running Club will be canceled on rainy days with lightning present and an email will be sent at 6:30 or earlier on that day. Running Club will not be canceled due to cold weather. If you choose not to send your child, that will be your decision.

PARENT VOLUNTEERS
Although spectators will not attend Running Club practices, except for those who will serve as Running Club volunteers, families are encouraged to attend all races!  We will have a limited number of volunteers chosen and those volunteers will need to be currently registered Dividends through Seminole County Public Schools. 

FEES?
There are no fees to join the Bear Lake Running Club. The only cost will be if you choose to purchase apparel or make a donation. Information on apparel and donations is at the bottom of this registration form. 

Please complete a separate registration form for each of your children participating.

Seminole County requires all students who participate in the Running Club to have insurance. My child is covered under the following insurance plan. *
All of our volunteers (Dividends) are required to complete an SCPS Dividend application each year. They do not roll over from year to year.

There are times when items such as incentives, awards, cross country supplies, etc. are needed. Running Club expenses are not covered by school funds. We rely solely on donations. If you wish to donate, please send your donation in with your child. We really appreciate your help!!! 
If you wish to add a monetary donation, please indicate the amount here.
Payment Information
Please send in cash or check for the total amount. Please include on an envelope or a piece of paper your child's name and teacher's name. If you write a check, please make it payable to Bear Lake Elementary. If you need change back, please indicate that on the envelope. If you would like to add a donation to the Running Club to help pay for incentives for our runners, please include that with your payment and indicate your donation amount on the envelope.
A copy of your responses will be emailed to the address you provided.
