MENTORS GUIDELINE INFORMATIONRequired Time Commitment: 1 hour once a week until graduation (up to 10 months)
Who: A Christian man who committed his life to Christ, trusted Jesus as he Lord and Savior and is a disciple that strives to obey the commands of Christ. We only have men mentor other men.
Vision: To become a friend for a man in our program and show what a man of God looks like. Model how you handle adversity, temptations, and other life obstacles. Be a good listener, help them process and navigate the challenges they face, and offer advice where needed.
Best Practice: Discovery Bible Studies (Spiritual Formation) *Understanding Big Book & 12 Steps (i.e. Alcoholics Anonymous)
