Following the successful mentorship scheme piloted by JETAA Tokyo, the JETAA UK committee is keen to set up a similar programme here in the UK to support ex-Jets in their careers once they finish the JET Programme.
We are recruiting mentors from various working sectors with (in principle) five years work experience post-JET, who will ideally offer you:

- Monthly contact with your mentor through face-to-face meetings, telephone, Skype, email, etc.
- Advice and suggestions on researching career opportunities in the UK
- Feedback on job search materials (cv, letters of recommendation, etc.)

Please note that you should NOT expect internships or job offers from your mentors.  The deadline for mentee sign-ups is August 31st 2013 and we plan to assign mentors and mentees within two weeks of that date.  This will be done on the preferences you choose on this questionnaire, whether that be regional or sector specific. Your mentor will contact you via the address you give us.
