3on3 Fun Tournament — Player & Parent Info

Thank you for joining our youth 3-on-3 day! Tournament will start at 8am.
Our goal: safe, fun, high-pace hockey.

Format

• 3 skaters vs 3 skaters

• 2 games → ice flood → repeat

• Line changes on buzzer

• No timeouts

Teams

- To Be Determined once registration closes

Equipment

• Full CSA-approved hockey equipment
  (helmet, gloves, shin pads, elbow pads, chest protector,  stick, cup/pelvic protector, neck guard) 

• MUST supply socks and both your own light and dark jerseys. Jerseys will not be provided.

• BBAMHA Game jerseys are NOT permitted to be worn for this event

• No neck guard = no play

• Bring a labeled water bottle

Rules

• No body checking

• No slap shots

• Accidental bumping is part of hockey—intentional contact is not

• Penalties:

  • No power plays

  • Offending player sits 1 minute

  • Other team gets a penalty shot

• If a goalie is not used, nets or shooter tutors are used

Sportsmanship

• No arguing with officials

• Respect teammates, coaches, and opponents

• Any aggressive behavior → removal from game/tournament

We’re here to have fun, learn, and connect age groups. Parents/Guardians will need to be responsible for their player during this day.

NOTE: All Barry's Bay and Area youth are welcome to register. You do not have to be sanctioned under Hockey Canada to play - you just need the full equipment necessary (as listed above).
