Resistance Behind Bars: A Palestinian Prisoners' Day Exhibit
📣 The PYM invites you to join us at 6:00 PM in Mississauga for our Palestinian Prisoners' Day Exhibit for an educational evening showcasing the history of the prisoner movement, the ongoing struggle for justice, and the vital role of prisoner's in the resistance.

🗓 Date: April 17
🕕 Time: 6:00 PM
📍 Location: Mississauga

Since 1979, April 17 has marked Palestinian Prisoners' Day, a day of solidarity with imprisoned Palestinians and the resistance they represent. Join us this year as we continue to honour their strength and resilience.
This educational exhibit will reflect on prisoner history, share the significance of their experiences, and highlight their critical role in the broader resistance movement.

Today, over 10,000 Palestinian prisoners are being held in Israeli jails, many imprisoned without charge or trial. For generations, Palestinian prisoners have employed numerous strategies to demand better conditions, organize those inside and outside of prisons, and educate each other on how to continue the fight for liberation.
