F.L.A.M.E. Leaders
FLAME (Future Leaders Athletics Mentoring Experience) Camp in Karalundi (50km north of Meekatharra), is an opportunity for Carey students to sit and learn from, build relationships with and serve the indigenous communities around Meekatharra and for young people of and around Meekatharra to develop knowledge, skills and experiences to be difference makers in their community.
Leaders will run athletics training and mini competition, mentoring and cultural activities as well as help in the day to day running of the camp including cooking and cleaning.
Leaders from Perth will leave Carey Baptist College 7am Sunday the 1st of October and return by 5pm Friday 6th of October, and the Camp will take place at Karalundi Aboriginal Education Centre.
Leaders from Meekatharra will arrive depend upon which aspect of the camp they are helping with.
