Awaawaroa Wetland Restoration Planting Days
The Waiheke Collective, on behalf of the Waiheke Local Board and Auckland Council, thanks you for signing up to help plant the Awaawaroa Wetlands!

Please fill in your details below, and feel free to share this with your whānau, friends and colleagues – the more, the merrier!

Need a ride?
Let us know by 24 August if you'd like transport. We'll be providing a shuttle from the Waiheke Sustainability Centre (1a Mako Street, Oneroa), departing at 9.30am and returning from the planting site at approximately 2.30–3.00pm (Saturday may return a little earlier).

Meeting points if you're making your own way:

  • Friday 28 August: 176 Awaawaroa Road (Awaawaroa Wetlands)
  • Saturday 29 August: Junction of Awaawaroa Road and Orapiu Road

Please bring:

  • Closed-toe shoes or sturdy boots
  • A spade, if you have one (we'll have plenty available too)
  • A water bottle
  • Extra kai if you'd like more than the snacks provided
