Thank you for your interest in submitting an application for Art in Bloom. Please complete all the required fields (below) to ensure that the committee may properly review your application. Once your application has been approved, you will receive notification via email or mail. We recommend that you PRINT THIS PAGE in order to keep a record of your submission.

Please note, artwork will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. Once the show is full, entries may be returned and entry fees refunded, due to space limitations.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENT CHECKLIST *

NEW FOR 2025: As a way to commemorate this year’s 200th Anniversary of the incorporation of Ebensburg Borough, the committee is accepting an “Anniversary Entry" significant to Ebensburg in some way. Anyone submitting an “Anniversary” entry may submit up to three entries this year!

Artwork submitted is ORIGINAL in design and created by the person entering.

Subject matter is appropriate for public viewing. If you're not sure, you may submit a picture to the committee for review.

Artwork has NOT been submitted in previous years.

If artwork is listed "for sale," I understand that my contact information will be provided to the intersted buyer.

Artwork does not exceed 36" in height or width FRAMED, with the exception of dimensional.

Artwork MUST be delivered to the Cambria County Courthouse on the THURSDAY before the show between the hours of 4:30 pm & 6:30 pm.

Artwork MUST BE PROPERLY FRAMED, WIRED AND READY FOR HANGING as seen in diagram at the following link:http://ebensburgpa.com/artinbloom/

There is an artwork entry fee of $10 per piece with a limit of two pieces per applicant. See below for payment method options.

Staff and committee members cannot accept artwork early and cannot transport artwork from the show.

Artist Reception - Artists are invited to attend a private reception on Saturday from 7 pm to 9 pm.

Anniversary Entry Price or 'Not for Sale'

SHOW SECURITY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: The Ebensburg Main Street Partnership will provide security during exhibit hours through volunteers. The Cambria County Board of Commissioners will also have officers on site during the exhibit hours. The Cambria County Courthouse is well-secured during non-exhibit hours. While great care will be taken with all works submitted, items that are damaged, lost or stolen during the course of the show are the responsibility of neither the EMP nor the County of Cambria. By submitting works, the artist accepts these conditions. *

AWARDS

Awards will be given in each of the five categories. An independent juror will determine the award winners.

- 1st Place - $100.00
- 2nd Place - $75.00
- Honorable Mention - $50.00
- Best of Show - $125.00
- People's Choice - $75.00

The Mayor of Ebensburg will also be giving three special awards:
- Mayor's Choice - Artwork created or inspired by the town of Ebensburg
- Mayor's Overall Favorite
- Mayor's Honorable Mention

- Phil Brulia Memorial Award
Art in Bloom recently lost one of its founding members, Mr. Phil Brulia. Phil was a gifted and talented local artist who, along with his wife Amy, was instrumental in starting Art in Bloom and keeping it going for the last 20+ years. As a way to honor Phil's memory and all that he's devoted to our community, the Art in Bloom committee members are sponsoring the Phil Brulia Memorial Award.
