Please join One for the World at UVA in the Batten Great Hall from 7:30 to 8:30 PM on Tuesday, November 19th for dinner and a livestream of Peter Singer's lecture. Peter Singer, who has been described as the world’s most influential living philosopher, will discuss his expanded and fully updated 10th Anniversary Edition of The Life You Can Save, the book that gave rise to the organization of the same name.  Singer will lead an inspirational conversation about Effective Altruism and how you can join a global movement supporting efforts to eliminate extreme poverty.
