We in the JE CLE are so excited to be piloting leadership trainings specifically for our org leadership! We want each of you to have opportunities for personal development and growth in your leadership roles, and these training sessions are here for just that! Below is the breakdown of dates, times, and topics that each month's trainings will cover!!
For this pilot year of trainings - half of the active members of your EBoard must attend a training in order to keep your active status as an organization. If you have an odd number of EBoard members, round up for the number of folks that need to attend ((ex: an EBoard of 5 will have 3 folks attend)). Your team can decide to each attend a different topic to get a vast array of knowledge, or you can do this as a team and choose a topic that is relevant to your organization! The choice is all yours!
Space is limited, the capacity in this classroom I have chosen is at 44 individuals per seminar, so if there is a topic your org wants to learn together, please sign up sooner rather than later to secure those spots!
As this is a requirement for your organizations this year and the schedule for the entire academic year has been given, we will not accept work, class, or other reasons as excuses for not meeting this requirement. We intentionally chose this time for these trainings as it aligns with the no class block here at Simmons, to help ensure classes wouldn't conflict with this new obligation. If you are not well and cannot attend a session you signed up for, no worries!! Life happens, I get that! We can reschedule for another seminar at a later date. But I encourage y'all to reach out to me early should you foresee any issues with your org meeting this requirement.
I will send a confirmation email to attendees for each session within the week prior to remind you all of this training session and the location details. I look forward to starting this journey with y'all!! And as always, feedback, comments, and concerns are always welcomed to make this the most well-rounded and poignant for your leadership development!
