25'-26' Carolina Forest Cheerleading Interest Form
This Form is for any rising 7th-12th graders interested in Carolina Forest Cheerleading for the 25'-26' school year. If you would like to be considered for a spot on CFHS JV or Varsity Cheer team plan to participate in open season please fill out this form.

OPEN PRACTICES
Location: Carolina Forest High School
Where: CF Main Gym 
When: March 3,4,6,10,11,13,17,18,20,24,25,27  (mon,tues,thurs) 
Time: 4-6 pm

* March 3,4,24,25 we will hold open practice in the Mini Gym @ CFHS *

MANDATORY INTEREST MEETING
Location: Carolina Forest High School

MANDATORY TRYOUTS   
Location: Carolina Forest High School
Where: Mini Gym 
When: May 5,6,7
Time: 4-6:30 pm

*All further info for tryouts will be given at the Interest Meeting on April 1st*

You MUST have a current physical OR a physical for the  25'-26' school year completed (current physicals are valid from April 1, 2024, through the end of 2024-25 school year), uploaded and approved on Big Teams (formerly PlanetHS) before you can participate in tryouts or Open Practice. For questions about Big Teams registration email CFHS athletic trainer Tyler Saylor tsaylor@horrycountyschools.net

Rising 7th graders are NOT allowed to participate in open practice per SCHL rules, but ARE allowed to try out on May 5,6,7 - All further info for tryouts will be given at the Interest Meeting on April 1st

  My parent and I fully understand that should I make a team, attendance at Practices starting August 1 is mandatory. ALL appointments, vacations, etc should be rescheduled and travel to and from practices should be pre-arranged. Athletes should be at ALL preseason/summer practices immediately after team placements unless pre-approved by coaches.
*Athletes who violate these conditions may be subject to consequences, deemed appropriate by the coaching staff, including dismissal from the team.

Cheerleading requires a high commitment from May-February. Please list ALL other school activities, sports and/or extracurricular activities you plan to participate in for the 24'-25' school year. 
My Parent and I understand that should I make team I make a team, my behavior MUST be above reproach. This includes, but is not limited to questionable social media post/photos/videos, misbehavior at school, disrespect to coaches or staff members, bullying other students/team mates, and/or questionable behavior while in uniform. I also understand that my behavior should follow the athletic guidelines set forth by Carolina Forest High School athletic handbook.
