Coffee Home Brewers Grand Eyeball Latte Art Competition 2023
The most fun, chillest, latte art throwdown known to man and woman.
SATURDAY, July 22, 2023
1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
  1. Eligibility:

    • The competition is open to all - professional and non-professional baristas.
    • Registration is until July 22, 10AM. Registered participants should be in the event by 11AM for the briefing of participants.
  2. Morning Session: Free-for-All Latte Art Learning:

    • In the morning, there will be a free latte art learning session. While it is open for all, registered participants for the competition will be prioritized. During this session, participants can learn basic latte art techniques and tips from experienced baristas.
  3. Competition Format: 

    • 1. There will be a professional and non-professional category. The competition will be a bracket-style, head-to-head knockout format.
    • Judges will determine the winner of each round based on the quality and creativity of the latte art produced.
  4. Latte Art Criteria:

    • Participants will be judged based on the following criteria:
      • Creativity: Uniqueness and originality of the latte art design.
      • Definition: Clarity and sharpness of the design's details.
      • Balance: Distinct contrast between the coffee and the cup.
      • Overall Presentation: Overall aesthetics and presentation of the latte art. 
  5. Equipment and Ingredients:

    • Participants will use the San Remo espresso machines, Alaska milk, and Yardstick coffee beans for the competition.
    • Each participant will be responsible for preparing their latte art using the provided equipment. 
  6. Prizes:

    • Prizes will be awarded to the top participants who make it to the final rounds. The grand prize for the competition is something you can use to develop your latte art skills further in your home care of our sponsors! Surprise muna pero promise, it's worth it. Heheheheh.
  7. Fun and Friendly Environment:

    • The competition aims to be fun and friendly, promoting camaraderie among participants.
    • Participants and spectators are encouraged to show support and respect for all competitors.
