SBDM Parent Nomination for the 2025-2026 School Year
The nomination period for election of a parent member to fill a vacancy on the School-Based Decision Making (SBDM) Council for the 2025-2026 school year is now open. If you would like to nominate a candidate for SBDM, please complete this form by Friday, April 25th at 3:00 PM.

Elections will take place on Monday, April 28th and Tuesday, April 29th from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. You can vote by stopping by the PLE Main Office and requesting a ballot. You will be required to show your ID and complete your vote on site. 

The SBDM Council is the decision-making body for our school. The council meets on the third Thursday of each month at 3:15 pm. Most meetings last approximately an hour. The main purpose of the SBDM council is to improve student learning. School councils have the responsibility to set school policy and make decisions in the areas specified by the law; to provide an environment to enhance student achievement; and to help the school meet the goals established by Kentucky’s education reform laws.
