RaptorHunt 2017

This is Rippowam's way to engage with the community.  The specific purpose of this activity is to learn about the community we serve, inform people about upcoming events at #RippIB, and message to the people that Rippowam is truly a public service organization.  

Team Rules

Minimum of 4 people per team
Teams must have at least 2 core AND 2 encorel (ESL/Span/PE/Reading/Sped/Media) teacher.   Paras are invited to join!
Teams must  have at least 2 people from different grade levels.  Additionally, each team must have people who can fulfill the following roles.  

The Navigator – This person needs to have a dependable vehicle that can hold approximately 4 people safely, be cool and calm under pressure and have full coverage car insurance.   

The STAMFORDite – This person must have supreme knowledge of Stamford’s history and know a thing or two about Stamford Geography.  Knowing where the local Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts is located is not sufficient.  

The APPlicator – This person must download the GooseChase App before May 31st and be ready to verify task/mission completion through the app.  Due to the limitations of the Free App we are running three games concurrently.

The Tweeter – This person must have diesel thumbs and the multitasking ability to take a selfie during task completion to then tweet along to the #RaptorHunt hashtag.

This is your opportunity to sign up teams for the upcoming PD. Please reach out to your colleagues and invite them to join your team.  Remember this is meant to be a fun filled afternoon with a bigger purpose to connect with the community,  as well as one another.  

More info will be provided Tuesday evening.  The game will officially open at 12:00 pm on Wednesday and end at 2:30pm.  For those game...we will reconvene at a yet to be disclosed location  Good Luck!!
