Survey on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Competitive Forensics
This survey is designed to gather perceptions and experiences related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within the forensics community, particularly in relation to the National Forensic Association (NFA). Your responses are valuable in many ways including 1) highlighting previously shared concerns, 2) sharing experiences that have negatively impacted your wellbeing, and 3) helping foster a more inclusive and equitable competitive environment.

The raw data from this survey will only be viewed by the members of the NFA DEI committee (Dr. Paul Porter, Prof. Julie Walker) and the designated NFA National Council Members (Dr. Nikki Freeman, and Prof. Tennisha Sonsalla). All answers will remain confidential. The data analysis process will include removing identifying information tying answers back to particular members of the NFA community. The data shared here is part of a larger DEI Maturity Audit which will culminate with the creation and implementation of a plan to improve the inclusion and belonging for all members of the NFA community.
