QRSTF 2027 Registration Page
This page will walk you through the process of Registering for the QRSTF 2026 Science Fair. Make sure you fill in all required information and that the email you use is a valid email address.
This is so we can contact you with confirmation of your registration. You will then download the permission form and send it in.
If you do not see your school on the list, please email us at qrstf@live.com
If you want to add information, please send the information to qrstf@live.com and we will add it.
Make sure your name is entered correctly since it will show up on the certificate as you have entered it.

The Special awards are selected by the student, the teacher, and/or the QRSTF Committee. These prizes are judged on the day of the fair and the student will receive a list of the awards at their area.

Elexicon Award-Award is given to the project at each level (Gr. 4-6,7-8,9-12) that best demonstrates information or an experiment that pertains to fish/animals, their habitat, protection or invasive species.
The City of Belleville Municipal Infrastructure Award-Awarded to a project that demonstrates a subject matter relevant to a city, its departments and infrastructure. (gr 4-12)
The Dennis Kritzer Computer Science Programming Award - Gr 4-12- For a project that has developed (programmed) a software program that services a specific need. The program can be created in java, c++, or any other programming language.
The UNAC Quinte Sustainability Award- (4-6,7-8,9-12) Award is presented to the project that best deals with the production or use of clean energy
The Albert College Engineering Award (Gr. 6)- Best principles of engineering.
The Albert Life/Earth Sciences Award- Gr. 6 - given to a project in Grade 6 that demonstrates the best principles of Life/Earth Sciences
Centre for Workforce Development Futures Award-Gr.4-8, 9-12 - student project that demonstrates technical knowledge and understanding leading to work in the trades.
The Quinte Conservation Authority Water Award- 4-12-given to the project that best displays ways in which water or watersheds can be conserved, or protected
The Panch Yogeswaran Robotics/AI Award- 4-6,7-8.9-12-presented to a project that best represents, demonstrates or researches an aspect of robotics or Artificial Intelligence.
The Professional Engineers of Ontario Award-4-6,7-8.9-12 - the best demonstrated use of engineering principles in a project.
The Erika Jackson Environmental Award - 4-6 - demonstrates a creative approach to an environmental problem that could lead to cleaner air, land or water.
The Derek and Kevin Sue-Chue-Lam Physics, Chemistry or Math Award - 4-8,9- 12 - creative approach to a Physics, Chemistry or Math problem.
The AMCOR Biology Award 4-8,9-12 - pertains to a biological theme. The project must directly relate to biology or an organism or the environment.
The Corporation of the County of Prince Edward Climate Change Award - project that best describes or develops an experiment that best explains an aspect of climate change that has an impact on the local area.
The Allegra Belleville - Best display board Award - best display in Grades 4-8 and 9-12 that shows clarity, professionalism, distinctiveness and innovation.
The Michel Sarrazin French Language Award - Best projects from French Language schools in the following grade groups: Grades 4-5; 6; 7-8; 9-12, & Immersion. This award will be presented in French.
Most Innovative Application of Technology Award - 4-8,9-12- use existing technologies in a new or altered way to create a new or improved outcome to something.
The Arlyne Gillespie Astronomy Award - Presented to the project that displayed the best use of Astronomical Concepts
The Loyalist College Entrance Scholarship Award - Grade 11-12
The University of Ottawa Scholarship Award - Grade 11-12
Carleton University (Carleton University’s Faculty of Engineering and Design) Scholarship
SHAD -Community Changemaker Award - The SHAD Community Changemaker Award recognizes a student who demonstrates exceptional creativity and curiosity, along with leadership potential through innovation and initiative to drive social impact through science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
