We support the Pathway To Safety bill, a Survivor-led and community-driven legislative solution to prevent the crime of sex trafficking in California while empowering survivors and communities to heal and thrive.
 
Pathway to Safety brings together the experiences of survivors of sexual exploitation and sex trafficking with allied experts in policy, direct services, and law enforcement to address those vulnerable in the sex trade, including sex trafficking victims.

Through these efforts, we strive to strengthen community safety and support those most impacted by the sex trade, including our BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and immigrant communities across the state of California.

This bill will achieve the following five goals:

1. Provide empowering exit strategies for survivors
2. Create Safer Communities
3. Create Accountability and Intervention for Exploiters and Buyers
4. Create Service Provider and Law Enforcement Partnership
5. Provide support and safety for BIPOC, LGBTQ, and Immigrant Communities
