Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here.
This form helps us create a grounded, trauma-informed space rooted in consent, clarity, and collective care.
Radical Imagination for Liberation & Collective Care is a trans-led workshop for trans and queer community — especially trans, nonbinary, disabled, neurodivergent, and BIPOC folks seeking embodied, creative practices for healing and collective liberation.
This is a stim-friendly, sensory-flexible, camera-optional space.
You’re welcome to bring:
-
your emotional support animals or furry children 🐈⬛
-
plush companions, fidgets, blankets
-
mobility aids, snacks, comfort items
-
whatever your body needs to feel safe and supported
You may also move, stretch, lie down, stim, pace, turn your camera on/off, or take breaks as needed. Your body and your care come first.
After you submit, you will receive a confirmation email with Zoom details.
If you’d like, you can also schedule schedule a short 15-minute call with Axel before or after registering to discuss any questions, access needs, or concerns.
This workshop is:
-
a queer + trans-centered healing circle
-
creative, embodied, gentle
-
rooted in drama therapy, somatics, narrative practice, & abolitionist queer worldmaking
-
trauma-informed + consent-based
-
an intimate community space to breathe, imagine, and reconnect
-
stim-friendly and sensory-flexible
This workshop is not:
-
crisis mental health support
-
a replacement for therapy
-
a space requiring performance, disclosure, or high energy
-
a space where you need to explain or justify your identity
Come exactly as you are — low energy, cozy, anxious, messy, quiet, camera-off, stimmy, neurodivergent, grieving, joyful, or surrounded by cats — all of you is welcome here.
Radical Imagination: Rooted in abolitionism and queer worldmaking, Radical Imagination challenges the limits of possibility imposed by capitalism and colonialism.
Collective Care: Challenges the conditions of survival imposed by those same systems.
To imagine radically is also to care collectively--to refuse the capitalist, isolated "self," and instead envision & enact relational interdependent futures.
What to Expect:
In this 2-hour virtual gathering, we’ll explore as queer and trans community how creative and embodied practices can help us regulate, reconnect, and imagine into liberated futures.
Together we’ll practice:
-
radical compassion & grounding
-
somatic and mindfulness tools
-
therapeutic storytelling and narrative play
-
collective care & community agreements
-
imagination as resistance and future-crafting
-
trans-led, anti-colonial approaches to care
-
sustainable practices for stress, burnout, and survival
You'll be held in a brave, consensual, trauma-informed space designed for connection, creativity, and collective healing.
