Clayroom SoMa Scholarship Application 2025
Clayroom SoMa seeks to support under represented communities and explore the art of ceramics through 6-week classes. This scholarship is for BIPOC and/or LGBTQIA+ people and especially those aged 18-25 are encouraged to apply. This application is for a scholarship for a 6-week class at Clayroom SoMa in Session 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 (depending on when you submit the application). This is a full scholarship that will cover the full cost of one 6-week class (instruction, studio space, and one bag of clay with firing fees and glazes included). Applicants can re-apply and attend up to 2 classes per year. 
Applicants will be accepted based on details provided in the application pertaining to the information above in addition to capacity of the studio. If you have been selected as a finalist we will be reaching out to have a short interview.

Scholarship Application Deadlines:

Session 1 applications are due Monday, November 17th, 2025 . Applicants will be notified about their application status by Tuesday November 25th, 2025

Session 2 applications are due Monday, January 12th, 2026. Applicants will be notified about their application status by Tuesday January 20th, 2026

Session 3 applications are due Monday March 2nd, 2026. Applicants will be notified about their application status by Tuesday March 10th, 2026

Session 4 applications are due Monday April 13th, 2026. Applicants will be notified about their application status by Monday April 21st, 2026.
