Bones
Words by Rebecca Richards, age 11 | Picture by Jasmine Lee, age 13
The sun shone down
Days, weeks, months

The pond got drier, smaller, smaller
Until its secret was revealed

Bones
Dead sheep bones
Grey and old, like a washed-up shipwreck

How did they get there?

A hungry sheep searching for grass
A step too far
Stuck in the mud

How long have they been hidden?
Nobody knows

There they will stay
Until the rain comes again
And the pond reclaims its secret
(The sound on this video is very soft, so maybe turn the volume right up for this one!)
