International Day of Peace Flag Procession
Thank you for volunteering to be a part of the
International Day of Peace Flag Procession!
About the Event:
The procession will take place on Thursday, September 21 at 11:00 am. We will start at the Center for Global Engagement and process across campus to Samuelson Chapel. Chapel will take place from 11:25 am to 12:15 pm. After chapel, there will be a brief gathering in the rose garden and refreshments will be served.
Everyone is welcome to join the procession with or without a flag. If you are requesting to join with a flag, please RSVP by September 16 and your request to carry a flag will be confirmed by September 19.
The flags are 3'x5' and held on 6' wooden flag poles. We have a total of 20 flag poles for use.
After processing to the Chapel, you will place the flag into a designated stand.
