The Mariposa County Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Arborworks & PG&E, is excited to bring back the banners across Highway 140! We will get back to you within 48 hours to let you know if your requested date is available! There will be a $50 fee to hang your banner.

Banners have strict restrictions - No promotion of any single business nor political issues are allowed. CalTrans has to approve every banner that is hung and the Chamber will coordinate getting an encroachment permit through Public Works for each banner. We need 2 months for the permit to be approved.

This project was made possible with a partnership between Arborworks, PG&E, Mariposa County Public Works, CalTrans, and The Mariposa County Chamber of Commerce. Arborworks generously hangs each banner.

Criteria

Your banner must meet all of the following criteria to be considered.

Banners will hang for 7 days. Banners will be hung by Arborworks or PG&E on Monday’s and taken down the following Monday. *

Please check each box while making sure your banner meets all the necessary criteria: *

18oz heavy duty vinyl and blackout for double sided.

ROPE: Should be one continuous piece secured within the seam along the top of the banner and the same in the bottom seam.

ROPE: Rope should 3/8” polypropylene.

WIND RELIEF CUTS: Two or three rows vertically, about every three feet horizontally

CORNERS: Hems should be sewn in webbing for added strength with D-rings in each corner.

GROMMETS: Grommets should be in each corner and about every two feet across the top and bottom.

DESIGN: Remember that your banner is basically a billboard and will only be viewed for a few seconds - try to minimize your text for optimal impact.

PREFERRED LENGTH & WIDTH: 4'x20' or 4'x30'
