Kanoe the Kazoo: Allegan State Game Area Woods and Wetlands Paddle - June 21, 2025
A 2.5 hour/5-mile paddle beginning at WaterTrail Ventures and landing at Hacklander Boat Launch in Saugatuck Township. Travel down river on gentle currents around Potawanami Marsh, encountering several species of birds and natural flora. Audubon Society of Kalamazoo will be providing leaders to identify birds, bring your binoculars if you are interested! Great trip for beginner paddlers and bird watchers. 

Please arrive around 8am if you are bringing your own vessel and between 9:15- 9:30am if you are renting. Launch will be at 10am.

A light breakfast with coffee and a shuttle will be provided. Vessels will be available for rental at a discounted rate ($15 for kayaks and $30 for canoes).
