Thank you for your interest in joining the Food Art Research Network. Before you complete the form and submit your application, we would like to share with you some facts about the network and how it operates.

Our network is a constellation of established artists and cultural workers engaging with the politics and aesthetics of food. It is a network of living relations that nurtures peer learning, exchanges, and encounters in and beyond the field of art. Food Art Research Network is a collective that nourishes reciprocity through the active participation of its members. We are not a service or artists agency. 

The network is entirely self-organised, with various member-supported committees, and we welcome institutional partners that offer structural contributions. We are interested in making another type of art world possible, in which we act not only on what is visible and shared with communities and publics, but also on the backstage practices that are needed for infrastructural transformation.

We have three committees consisting of general organisation, funding, and production, of which the participants change every two years as it is volunteer work. Every member can contribute to the maintenance and growth of our network, even if not part of the committee. 

We ask new members to share their possibilities to offer support to sustain the network and its activities, which can be done through joining one of the committees, or if you have a particular skill you would like to contribute, we are also open to exploring new modes of participation. Thus, we are looking forward to knowing more about you and your interest in joining the network!
