Art Analysis of Hamilton or Monkman
For this exercise, you may choose one of two artworks to analyse:

- Richard Hamilton's Just What Is It that Makes Today’s Homes So Different, So Appealing? of 1956
- or Kent Monkman's The Scoop from 2018

We are going to break down this famous artwork in order to analyse what it is all about. We are going to go through the four stages of looking at art: observing it closely, analyzing it for clues about what it is trying to say, putting the clues together to come up with a meaning, and finally, and opinion about whether the artwork communicated that meaning well.

The answers you write will count toward your Art History mark, with 10 points being a perfect score.

Remember: ask your teacher for help with this if you need it. We want you to do well!
