Regular Summer School (Boys and Girls)

The objective of the school is to not only teach kids Quran and Islamic Studies but to involve them in activities such as, but not limited to:
Seerah of Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him)
Salah
Hajj and Eid
Prophet stories
Athaan competition
Nasheed competition
Speech competition
Presentations
Posters and Calligraphy
Art and Craft Fun Activities
Explanation/Tafseer of Surahs
Muslim manners and character building




Summer Quran Hifz Program (Only for Boys)

The objective of the Hifz program is to memorize the Quran with proper Tajweed. 

• Memorization of the Quran
• Learn proper Tajweed
• Muslim manners and character building
• Outdoor activities

Registration Deadline: 
May 30, 2025, to June 22, 2025
After June 22, a notification will be sent, if your Registration is accepted. First come first serve.  

Academic Session:
Monday, July 07, 2025, to Thursday, August 21, 2025.  

Age Limit: 
6 to 16 years of age. 
Please do not submit form for child below the age of 6. It will not be accepted.  

Class Schedule: 
School operates from Monday to Thursday (10:00 AM to 1:30 PM).
 
Please ensure that children do not arrive more than 10 minutes prior to start of school.
Please make sure to provide your kid with a snack and water bottle.  

Fees and Payment Method: 
One-time Online Payment for the whole program will be required after accepting the Registration. The online payment link will be sent out with the registration acceptance email.

The fee this year is $160.00 for the first child and $140.00 for each subsequent child.

Late Pickup & Safety: 
Children should be picked up on time. The Islamic Association cannot take responsibility for the safety of your children after school hours.
 
The Islamic Association takes utmost care for the safety of your child, however in an unfortunate event of injury to the child, the association will not be held responsible.

Restriction in the school: 
- The use of abusive language, swearing and fighting are forbidden and in extreme cases a child may be expelled from the school.
- A misbehaving child will be given a verbal caution.
- If this caution is ignored the child will be made to stand, thereafter if the behavior still continues, the child will be separated from the class.
 
However, if the behavior is not rectified the child will be expelled and sent home and/or the parents/guardians will be notified. Children are not allowed to bring toys, video games, and MP3 players.

Dress Standard: 
Children are required to wear modest dress to keep the sanctity of the Masjid. Tight fitting clothes or shorts will NOT be allowed. Clothing with a picture of living being is not allowed. Female student is required to wear hijab and male student is required to wear topi/cap or cover his head during Qur’an class or when praying in Jama’ah.

Financial Assistance: 
Financial Assistance will be considered only for special case based on the financial situation of the family.

Letter/Notices: 
Please make sure that appropriate action is taken when a letter or note is given to a student.


Methods of Achievement:
Maintain punctuality in attendance.
Daily revision and preparation of lesson at home assigns by the teacher.
Follow the basic etiquette of the school and the classroom.
Be respectful to the teachers and adults.
Be appreciative by saying “Jazakallah” and “Please”.
Support and encourage your peers.
Be a good sport in all circumstances.
Transition quietly and orderly in and out of the classroom and school.
Always tell the truth.  

Note: Students perform better when parents/guardian are well informed and take interest in their study program and activities. So please take responsibility of your child/children and engage with them on a daily basis.
