The Cherokee Right Path, “Du-yu dv-i,” Adult Leadership Program (RP) is accepting nominations for participation in the 2016-17 program. This leadership program is for EBCI tribal members to learn Cherokee history and culture, and to develop leadership competencies.
Candidates must be age 18 and over, have a high school diploma or GED and have some college experience. Knowledge of Cherokee culture and/or experience in a professional environment is a plus. Persons wishing to nominate a candidate can go to

The mission of the Cherokee Leadership Development Initiative is to support lifelong, culture-based learning that gives EBCI members opportunities to develop strong leadership abilities and serve successfully in leadership roles. With the help of mentors, participants will study Cherokee identity, history and culture, indigenous identity, and leadership competencies.
